Official rules
Drawing on December 31st, 2007 and on July 31st, 2008.
The contest is to take place at the Novik web site.
ELIGILIBITY
1. The contest is opened to all residents of the province of Quebec 18 years of age and up.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2. To participate in the “Get a chance to win $500!”, you must log on the following URL during the contest period: http://www.novik.com
Click on the “Get a chance to win 500$!” window. Send us a picture of your installation emphasizing the authentic look of Novik siding. Accepted sidings: hand-laid brick, hand-cut stone, hand-split shake, roughsawn cedar & half-round panels.
3. PRIZES
- 1st prize: $500
- 2nd prize: $250
4. DRAWING:
A random drawing will be held on October 31st, 2006 among the eligible registrations received. The first winner will receive $500 and the second one will win $250.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
5. All electronic registrations are subject to verification by contest officials. Incomplete or fraudulent registrations will automatically be refused and no prizes will be awarded in these instances. In the event that such a case occurs, the contest officials will proceed with a new drawing. The decision of the officials is final and without appeal.
6. By participating in this contest, the winner hereby authorizes contest officials to use, free of charge, his or her name, photo, place of residence, voice and/or image for publicity purposes, if required.
7. Contest officials decline all responsibility with regard to any and all computer glitches, programs or telecommunications breakdowns concerning losses or lack of network communication or concerning any and all transmission failures, be they incomplete, unintelligible or erased by any computer or network, and which limits the possibility or prevents anyone from participating in the contest. Contest officials also decline all responsibility for any damage or loss having been caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any program or form and by transmission of all information destined for contest participation.
8. Pending approval by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, contest officials reserve the right and discretionary power to declare void, or completely end or suspend this contest in the event of a computer virus, a computer bug, unauthorized man-made disruptions or any other event beyond the control of contest officials which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or the normal course of affairs of the contest.
9. Participation in the contest explicitly constitutes full acceptance of the rules governing the contest.
10. Subject to all applicable federal, provincial and Canadian municipal laws, these rules govern all aspect of the contest and are binding on the part of the participants.
11. In both Quebec and Canada, any complaints concerning the organization or the conduct of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for arbitration. Any complaints with regard to the awarding of the prizes may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of attempting to reach a settlement.
