Innovative Polymers?
Our products are created from copolymers composed of polypropylene and various high-performance additives. Several different technologies exist for creating polymer pieces, such as extrusion, thermoforming and blowmolding, but Novik’s injection process creates more complex pieces of higher quality. This process is already well-known in the industry, but Novik products are set apart by exclusively designed polymers perfected by years of research.
Features and Advantages
- Injection molding reproduces the various textures of wood, stone and brick because the material being imitated is used to create the mold. The result: more authentic-looking products than others on the market.
- No visible seam; no need to overlap or seal.
- More resistant: thicker than normal siding (approx. 0.100") and 2.5 times thicker than vinyl.
- Limited expansion and shrinking in temperatures between –40 and 70°C.
- More flexible material that rust and mold can’t weaken.
- Unlike PVC, Novik’s specially developed copolymer releases no noxious fumes when burned.
- Unaffected by weather, humidity and moisture, making it more durable than wood, wood fiber or any other product.
- Anti-U.V. additives and stabilizers to prevent streaks and discoloration.
- More resistant than PVC, our polymer won’t craze or crack.
