Installation
(round and square columns)
STEP 1
- Place two sections as shown on the drawing;
- Put your feet on each side;
- Strike sides with hands to permit interlock;
- Do the same with the other sections.
Notes:
- 10" and 12" round columns have 4 sections.
- 15" round column has 6 sections.
- 4" and 6" square columns have 2 sections.
- 8" square column has 4 sections.
STEP 2
- Assemble the column by striking with hands, until you hear the interlock "snap-in".
STEP 3
- Assemble the base and the cap around the column. (1-piece models ) N.B. Multi-section models can be assembled after the columns have been set in place.
- Put up the column and make sure to level it;
- Use four drive screws 8 X 3/4" to set column to the floor and the ceiling with mounting brackets.
- Use two screws 8 X 2 1/2" to set base to the floor and cap to the ceiling.
- Install the plastic caps over the screws. (When needed)
FOR 1-PIECE ALUMINUM BASE:
NOTE: We recommend to drill the base before screwing.
NOTE: Do not forget to slip base and cap before installing the column.

Warranty
5 years warranty aluminum columns
Quality warranty
All of our aluminum columns are made to respond to the industry’s high standards and North America’s very strict specifications.
Opting for the continuous improvement of our products, we are able to provide you with a Five Year Warranty.
Terms
Novik inc. offers a warranty to the original buyer for a five year period for the replacement of any product when the installation is completed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Novik inc. also offers a warranty from any defect in the aluminum columns manufacturing. Novik inc. shall not be liable for labour expenses or any damages resulting from the use of this product, or have any other liability, except for the replacement value of the columns. This warranty is effective immediately upon delivery of the product.
Limitations
Novik’s warranty is strictly subject to these conditions:
- Applies only to Novik products used for their specific purpose.
- Does not apply to any damages resulting from misuse, negligence or incorrect installation.
- Does not apply to damages resulting from pollution, mildew, exposure to chemical products or inappropriate cleaners.
- Does not apply when the columns have been painted or varnished.
- The warranty is void if there is use of abrasives on the floor in proximity to the columns.
