Installation
Installation steps
1- Locate the position of the vent. Cut a hole to allow ventilation.
2- Using nails or screws, attach the rear part of the vent (figure A) Be sure that the “top/haut” writing is on top and horizontal. To ensure watertight installation, apply sealant around the vent.
3- Install exterior of siding. Leave a 3/16” (0.5 cm) gap between the rear part of the vent and the siding.
4- Assemble the front part on the rear part of the vent by using the hooks and slots. Before fixing permanently, make sure
the hooks are well positioned.

Terms
Novik inc. offers a warranty to the original buyer for the replacement of any product when the installation is completed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Novik inc. also offers a warranty from any defect in the gable vents manufactureing including undulation, cracking or excessive discoloration when exposed to normal weather conditions. Novik inc. shall not be liable for labour expenses or any damages resulting from the use of this product, or have any other liability, except for the replacement value of the vent. This warranty is effective immediately upon delivery of the product.
Limitations
Novik’s Warranty is strictly subject to these conditions :
- Applies only to Novik products used for their specific purpose.
- Does not apply to any damages resulting from misuse, negligence, or incorrect installation.
- Does not apply to damages resulting from pollution, mildew, exposure to chemical product or inappropriate cleaners.
- Does not apply when the gable vents have been painted or varnished.

The buyer has to provide a written declaration setting out the damage and manufacturing defect together with original proof of purchase to the following address:
