Installation
Follow the same steps for each product. ( Images can be different than the product in the box.)
1- Install a starter strip at the lowest point of the structure. Please make sure that it is level. Fasten the strip every 12" (30.5 cm). (see figure 1)
We recommend a galvanized roofing nail whose length will penetrate into the wood framing member by 1 ½" (3.8 cm). Please consider thickness of sheathing when determining length of galvanized roofing nail. For masonry fastening , use a self drilling pan head 3/16" (0.5 cm) shaft tapcon fasteners length which must penetrate 1" into masonry. Consider thickness of insulating material applied over masonry when determining length of fastener.

2- At each wall vertical extremity, install Corner base A. Leave about ½" (1.3 cm) between the Corner base A and the starter strip B (see figure 2a). If only one wall section is being done, finish off with vertical J-Trim.
3- Always work from left to right and from the lowest point upwards. Cut in a straight line at the left extremity of the panel (see figure 2b). We strongly recommend that the length of the wall is considered when you proceed with your first cut so that you are not left with only a small panel of the wall left to cover. Insert the panel on the starter strip and make sure that all the hooks on the bottom of the panel are in place. Slide on the Corner base and leave 3/16" (0.5 cm) of space to allow the panel to expand. Fasten at least five different places on the fastening channel hole. Leaving 1/32" (0.1 cm) space between the fastener and the siding. When each panel is in the correct position, fasten at the center hole to allow an equal expansion/retraction on each side (see figure 2c).

N.B. In the case of a panel that has been cut, a new center point must be created by piercing a 3/16" (0.3 cm) hole at the same height as the oblong fastening holes.
4- Continue the first row by securing the panel hooks located at the bottom horizontal edge of the panel (see figure 3a) to the starter strip and sliding it over the preceding one. (see figure 3 b)
Important: For expansion/contraction: On the top right Corner of the panel, you will find a temperature line guide. This shows you how much space you must leave between the panels depending on the outdoor temperature during installation.
Installation:
35 C (95 F) spacing between panels: 0.17" (0.4 cm)
20 C (68 F) spacing between panels 0.22" (0.6 cm)
5 C (41 F) spacing between panels 0.27" (0.7 cm)

5- Before proceeding with the next row, please make sure that the height of the Corner is the same as the height of the panel. Make sure that the mortar line matches for the brick. Snap the Corners on the base when all the rows are done. In the case of the stone panel, it is normal that the mortar does not fit, align it to the lowest stone. For the hand-split shake panel, the upper Corner is higher by 3/8" (1 cm) from the panel. If necessary adjust the height of the Corner base (see figure 4)

6- Install the next Corner base by sliding it until it is supported by the lower Corner base (see figure 5). Proceed with this row and the following rows by repeating steps 3 to 6 and make sure that at each row, the heights of Corners coincide with row heights. It is suggested that you complete 1 wall before starting a new wall.
N.B. To avoid vertical panel seam in the same spots from one horizontal row to another, start the next row 8" (20.32 cm) from the starting point. Stagger vertical seams or panel joints every other row.

7- When all the walls are done, clip the Corner facade on the Corner bases. (see figure 6).
General informations :
- When using J channels (example: for window contours) always make sure to leave a space of 3/16" (0.5 cm) between the channel and the panel.
- If you need to fix the siding at an area other than the oblong nail hole, at a concealed spot on the panel, drill a hole larger than the nail body but smaller than the nail head to permit retraction/expansion
- The siding can be used inside but must not be installed next to a heat source like a fireplace, stove etc.
- Always work at waist-level, helping you to see at the back of panel if all the hooks are properly engaged.
- Do not fix accessories directly on the siding. The fasteners must be fixed on a solid surface.

Opting for continuous improvements in our products, we are able to provide a transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty.
This warranty supersedes all other warranties, liabilities and obligations; whether oral, written or implied.
Terms
Novik inc. offers a warranty to the original homeowner for the replacement of any product when installed in accordance to the manufacturer’s instructions and exposed to normal weather conditions. Novik inc. also warrants that all sidings will be free from manufacturing defects. These defects include cracking, warping, peeling or excessive discoloration.
Registration and warranty transfer
This warranty will be valid only after the original homeowner completes the warranty registration form and returns it to Novik inc. along with a copy of the proof of purchase & installation contract.(See below for original owner schedule).

The warranty can only be transferred once by the original owner to an immediate subsequent purchaser (transferee). Upon this transfer, the siding will be covered under the Transferee Warranty coverage schedule and is calculated from the original date of siding installation. It is important that Novik inc. be notified of the property transfer and documentary proof of this transfer be submitted to Novik inc. to ensure coverage. (See below for transferee schedule).

Limitations
Noviks’ warranty does not provide protection against any damage caused by events beyond normal weather conditions, including but not limited to:
- Misuse, negligence or improper installation;
- Pollution, mildew, exposure to chemical products or inappropriate cleaners;
- Alterations to siding like painting or varnish;
- Improper handling or storage;
- Defects in material or wall in which Novik inc. siding was installed, caused by movement, cracking or setting of wall or foundation of building;
- Impact of foreign objects, hail, lightning, fire, hurricanes, tornados or any other catastrophic phenomena of nature;
- Vandalism and intentional damage.
Geographic situation, sunlight exposure, air quality and climatic factors may gradually weather the siding. If the siding is determined by Novik inc. to have faded beyond normal expectations, Novik inc. will replace defective material.
Novik inc.reserves the right to discontinue or modify any of its products without prior notice. Novik inc. shall not be liable for variations in color or gloss compared to product that has been installed and exposed to normal weather conditions.
Warranty claims
The buyer has to provide a written description of the damage and manufacturing defect together with original proof of purchase to the following address:

The consumer must provide date of installation and proof of property ownership. The claimant may be required to submit a sample of the defective materials for analysis. Novik inc. will analyze the material claimed to be defective and determine the validity of the claim.
For your protection
Novik inc. siding is a very low maintenance product but is made of polypropylene. Common sense should be used to keep siding from melting or burning. It is important that all sources of heat and flames and combustible materials like dry leaves, trash, etc., be kept away from Novik siding.
If the original homeowner or transferee is shown to have neglected to provide proper maintenance to the siding, this warranty will be null and void.
