Installation
General information
The following instructions allow for the expansion and contraction of the material.
1- Always begin the installation from left to rightand make sure that a wall is completed before beginning a new one. Always begin at thelowest part of the structure.
2- Always insert nail in the center of the slot at intervals of 16" (40.6 cm). (figure 1)

3- Never completely hammer the nail in. Leavea gap of 1/16" (0.2 cm). (figure 2)

4- Make sure that all pieces are properly joinedtogether. (figure 3)

5- When using j-trim, leave a space of 3/16" (0.5 cm) between the trim and the siding. (figure 4)

Note: To cut the material, it is recommended to usea blade with 12 to 16 teeth per inch (2.5 cm) and to useit in the reversed position for a better finish.
Installation steps
1- To begin, install the starter strip. Make sure thatthe horizontal starting line is perfectly level andsquare with the wall. (figure A)

2- Cut the left side of the panel in a straight line. Insert panel into trim or decorative Corner whichshould be set at 1 7/8" (47.8 cm) from the wall extremity. Measure the wall length to determine where to cut your first panel in order to avoid having avery small piece at the right end of the wall (figure B).

3- Install the following panel by hooking it intothe starter strip and sliding over the previouspanel. Make sure that the tabs on both sidesare locked together and spaced equally. (figure C)

Installation:
35 C (95 F) spacing between panels: 0.17" (0.4 cm)
20 C (68 F) spacing between panels 0.22" (0.5 cm)
5 C (41 F) spacing between panels 0.27" (0.7 cm)
4- For each panel, after positioning the panel atthe proper spacing for the installation temperature, install a nail in the center hole of the panel. The panel will move evenly in both directionsfrom the center out in the case of retraction orexpansion.(figure D)

n.b. If you have a piece of a panel, drill a holeat the center of the panel (diameter 1/8" (0.32 cm)), at thesame height as the other installation holes. Each full panel should use a minimum of 6 nails.
5- To eliminate stacking seams over seams, stagger subsequent courses in 8" (20.3 cm) increments. Alternate for the following rows.
6- When you have finished two adjacent walls, install the first Corner by sliding it on the starterstrip and nail in the top slot (x). (figure E)

Set the following Corners by inserting the bottom hook in the space on the top of the inferior pieceand set the top. (figure F)
N.B It is important to make sure that the rows on adjacent walls are of the same height.
- If you need to fix the siding at an area other than the oblong nail hole, at a concealed spot on the panel, drill a hole larger than the nail body but smaller than the nail head to permit retraction/expansion.
- Do not fix accessories directly on the siding. The fasteners must be fixed on a solid surface.
