Installation
CAUTION: Remember that plastic undergoes expansion/contraction due to variations in temperature.
NOTE: Installation must be done at temperature above 32°F(0°C).
General information:
The following instructions have been designed to allow for subsequent expansion and contraction movement of the material.
1- Always begin the installation at the lowest part of the structure from left to right.
2- Always hammer the nails in installation holes as a maximal interval of 16" (40.64cm). These holes include polymer film allowing the exact centering of nails and the expansion and contraction of material (figure 1).

3- Never hammer the nails in completely; leave a gap of 1/16" (0.16cm). The stoppers located around the holes stop the hammer from driving the nails in too far, and provides the required gap (Figure 2).

4- Make sure that all pieces are properly joined together (Figure 3).

5- When using j-trim, leave a space of 1/4” (0.64cm) between the trim and the siding (Figure 4). use standard 3/4” (1.91cm) J-trim.

Note: To cut the material, use a knife, sheet metal scissors or saw blade with 12 to 16 teeth per inch in reversed position for a better finish.
INSTAllATION STEPS
1- install the J-trim and the J-trim corners on walls.
2- install the starter strips at 1.625“(4,13cm) from the lowest part of structure. Make sure that the horizontal starting line is perfectly level, square with the wall and flush with the J-trim corner (Figure A).

3- insert panel into starter strip and slide it inside the J-trim corner (Figure b). Measure the wall length to determine where to cut your first panel to avoid having a very small piece at the right end of the wall.
4- On each panel, hammer a nail into the center hole of the panel (Figure b), this will ensure even movement of panel in both directions during expansion/contraction. Also hammer a nail into the last hole on both ends. If the panel is installed on a furring wall, a furring strip is required behind these holes.

NB.: If a panel piece does not have the initial center hole in the middle, drill a new center hole of 1/8“(0.32cm) diameter at the same height as the other installation holes. Each full length panel should be secured with a minimum of 7 nails.
5- Insert the base of the joint onto the starting strip(1), then slide it under the preceding panel until it reaches the stoppers(2) and nail it in (Figure c). If the panels are installed on a furring wall, add furring strip where joint will appear. install the next panel and lean it against the stoppers* located to the right of the jonction. Nail this panel in as explained in point 4.

6- Apply the face of the joint by positioning the hooks in the slots and pushing it up firmly upwards to engage clips (Figure D). repeat steps 3 to 6 across the entire length of the wall before starting a new row.

7- Begin the next row by sliding the hooks located at the bottom of the panel into the top of the previously installed row. For a more attractive appearance, we recommend starting a new row with a half panel. Alternate cut sequence in the subsequent rows (Figure e).

8- For the last row or places where you may need to attach siding other than in installation holes at a concealed spot on the panel use a knife to create new slots (1”/2,54cm)(Figure F); the slot must be wider than the nail but not as wide as the nail head. Although not set in installation holes, this type of cutting will allow the expansion/contraction movement.

* The stoppers are only designed to guide the positioning of the panels during installation. They will break once panels undergo any expansion movement.
Note: Do not attach accessories directly onto siding. The fasteners must be attached to a solid surface.
Tip: To make sure panels are hanging straight on the wall: Measure up 7 13/16”(19.84cm) from the top of the panel on either side of the wall at every 3-4 rows (Figure g). stretch a chalk line, it will be your guide for the next row (Figure h).
